Indax offers a wide range of grid grating products manufactured in steel, aluminium and FRP, which are suitable for all industrial and commercial walkway access system applications. Indax grid grating can be used as walkway and stairway flooring, and for screening and drainage cover applications.
Indax’s specialist workshops can fabricate grid grating to meet specific customer requirements to include cut-outs, panel splits, banding and kick-plates. Our in-house drafting team can prepare complete drawings for fabrication.
Indax grid grating can also be supplied in un-fabricated full sheets in plain or serrated load bar configurations.
We supply our grating products in both black and hot dip galvanised finishes. Hot dip galvanising at a bath temperature of 450° produces a durable abrasion resistant coating of metallic zinc and zinc iron alloy that is metallurgically bonded to the steel.
Grating can be supplied for a range of load bearing applications, from a light duty grating with load bars as small as 20mm x 3mm, right up to heavy duty grating with a load bar of 75mm x 6mm.
Grating can fixed to supporting steelwork by on-site welding or, in cases where panels need to be removable, by Indax grating fixing clips supplied as standard in galvanised finishes.
